Gerritt Losch saying that the gilead students serve as god's angels in their ministry as well as being directed by angelic spirit creatures. That just makes me want to be a missionary. (136th gilead class jw.org Thank you brother Mike:) Why do we need these spirit creatures directing us if we are god's angels when out in the ministry????

The most disturbing Watchtower quote in 2013.
by never a jw ini am trying to put together the worst of 2013. the first quote that comes to mind is possibly your "favorite" too.
do you have any other disturbing quotes from the publications in the wt?.
elders who are reading this article can draw some useful conclusions from the account we have just considered: (1) the most practical step that we can take to prepare for the coming attack of the assyrian is that of strengthening our faith in god and helping our brothers to do the same.

This is so sad. Comostose, do you know what is worse than your parents not talking to you? Your daughter watching your grandparents not talking to you. Your daughter only knows you the most as her rock shelter of refuge and anyone hurting you will also hurt her. She does not need these headgames in her life. It can not become normal for her to see people hurt those they are suppose to love. She might one day think you will do that to her just by watching that this kind of behavior is allowed. Or one day have to fight her feelings and be torn as to who she is to be loyal to. Grandparents behavior or mom and dad's. This religion's manipulation of even the innocent and naive has got to stop!!!!!!!!!!! No one has the right to divide or play mind games on any family.

Here in southern Ontario an elderly couple partook two years ago. The elders waited almost a year (the week before the next memorial) and hauled them in to the second school and told them to read the stack of articles they gave them. Then they had the co work with them and he asked them if the wife felt she should partake because her husband did. He asked the husband if he thought he was going to be in heaven and the husband said he didn't care where he was but that he knew they should partake. The co told him then don't partake. A local needs was given a week before this memorial about not partaking. This year he partook and there was a whole back row of idiots laughing at him. While he partook the speaker was staring right at him and he stared right back at the speaker while he partook. The wife is just sick about it for she feels she should partake too. I told them to come to our home for us and other ex-jw's do partake plus we have the passover meal. Talk about persecution from within, sheesh!

Question about Matthew 26:17 and Leviticus 23:5,6
by label licker inhow could the passover be on the same day as feast of unleaven bread?
matthew 26:17 says it was the first day of unleaven cakes/bread and they were asking where to prepare the passover.
but leviticus says the passover was on the fourteenth and the feast of unleaven bread/cakes was on the fifteenth, next day after passover.

The day of preparation is the day before the feast of unleaven bread/cakes. Because it falls on the weekly sabbath, and it's a holy convention and the two fall on the same day it's a high sabbath. So this doesn't change the fact that what he said in Leviticus 23:5 and on that the passover was on the fourteenth and feast of unleaven bread was on the fifteenth. Day of preparation is always the day before. The passover was still the passover. The only thing special about it was that it was his last one.
I'm just wondering why in Matthew it says they were getting ready for the passover on the day of feast of unleavened bread. Yet in Leviticus it was two seperate daysThe fourteenth of Nisan was to be the passover and fifteenth was to be the feast of unleavened bread. Two seperate days. Matthew is reading that these two days were on one day.

New "Donation Arrangement" is a DECOY!
by The Searcher input yourself in the org's position - distasteful as that is - and come up with a solution to solve the problems of not only recovering their stock market losses, but also, ensuring an increase in their dwindling revenue stream.. the major problem is, donations are voluntary (with no future guarantees) whereas pledges are compulsory - in the heart and mind of the giver!.
however, far too many will probably forget/refuse to keep up their monthly tax - with no way of knowing who is 'paying the man', and who is not.
master stroke - make plan a 100% certainty to fail in the first year, based on the 'anonymity' of the setup.

For sure if you want a label, you will have to pay your way. That's probably why in our hall they made a twenty-five year old an elder. He just finished becoming a millwright and his wife has her own hairdressing salon. Both came back into the religion five years ago after being df'd. I can see more divisions and contentions coming with the gb's new doctrinal schemes. They are so devious and definitely a tool of Satan's.

How could the passover be on the same day as feast of unleaven bread? Matthew 26:17 says it was the first day of unleaven cakes/bread and they were asking where to prepare the passover. But Leviticus says the passover was on the fourteenth and the feast of unleaven bread/cakes was on the fifteenth, next day after passover. Was there a mistranslation here in Matthew? This is a question for believers only, please. Thank you:)

Hey Searcher,
These elders down here tried to have all of us sign out a form, stating that we would allow the society to withdraw what ever amount we had put on the forms on a monthly basis. They kept the pile of forms at the back on the literature counter so everytime we were to go an get a territory or mags, there was those stupid forms. No one bit and the forms soon disappeared. Only one is up on the back board and if we want, we have to ask for one. All the halls around here have them. I sent one to Barbara Anderson a couple of years ago. If I find the other copy, I will put it on here or maybe Barbara can put it on here.

Gerrit Lösch Tells his life story/ One word SICKENING
by suavojr inthis article is sickening, not a single word about love towards others, care for the needy or any kind act.
but since i worked 72 hours each week in a hotel restaurant, i first had to make some changes.. i asked my boss whether he would allow me to work 60 hours instead.
i next asked to be allowed to work only 36 hours per week, or 6 hours on 6 days, and that request was also granted.

He's just letting you know that if none of you behave and kiss their butts then he will make sure none of you will see your loved ones ever again because he's in charge of what's on earth (the resurrection) and in heaven (Jesus). Next they will say they have the power to resurrect. They are no different then the faith healers you see on TV. In the end you pay for it one way or another.

How long did you know TTATT while attending the meetings?

A few months and stopped cold turkey. Elders didn't hunt us down until nine months later to finalise the process. Had we known of this site and TTATT before they came to our door, we would have never joined. We will never be apart of Babylon the Great and that's exactly what hubby called the two elders who were sitting outside our property for three hours that morning to df us. And yes, that's exactly how they df'd him. When he tried telling them that the apostles were no longer the fds according to their doctrine, the one idiot pointed at him and called him an apostate and said he was df'd right there on the spot. They told him the apostles are most definitely the fds. Hubby walked back towards the house waving bye bye with his back towards them yelling out glad it's not you that will be my judge.

If it's to make us think then why go up on to a mountain where no one could see what he was doing? Just like Moses, no one saw what he was doing on top that mountain as well when he brought down the tablets. Just a question. Don't beat me up guys:)
